| These specifications describe a self-contained patch unit which is permanently mounted to a trailer chassis to be used for patching with hot asphalt.
CONTAINER
The unit shall be 4 cubic yards.
Double wall constructed.
2" - 6 lb. density insulation throughout.

Top loading doors shall be hydraulic operated by 2" x 11" stroke cylinders.
Top lids are 2" double wall constructed.

RADIANT HEATER
Heat tubes located under the container.
Interior heat chamber has passage ways to direct heat.
Passage ways separate from heat chamber.
Chamber totally enclosed inside container.
2 burners propane fueled.
Rating of 67,000 BTU each @ pressure of 10 PSI.
Controlled by thermostat range of 100° to 300° F.
12 volt electronic igniters.
100% fuel shut off if flame is extinguished
Burner area fully enclosed.
TRAILER
Tandem axle.
Single wheel, 18,000 lb. GVW trailer with electric brakes.
Axles shall have leaf springs and oil bath seals.
Four 17.5" one piece steel rim with 215/ 75R 17.5 - 16 ply tires.
Constructed of 3" x 6" x 1/4" rectangular tubing with a 10,000 lb. landing-
gear type jack.
3" I.D. adjustable height pintle hitch eye.
Two 3/8 inch safety chains.
Connector and two integral tails, stop, and turn lights mounted on frame.
SHOVELING APRON - MODEL 5

Folding bottom for material to bypass freely.
