| These specifications describe a self-contained patch unit which is a "slide in" unit to be used for patching with hot asphalt.
CONTAINER
The unit shall be 3 cubic yards.
Double wall constructed.
2" - 6 lb. density insulation throughout.
3/16 GA HR steel interior sides, 12 GA HR steel exterior.
Top loading doors shall be hydraulic operated by 2" x 11" stroke cylinders.
Top lids are 2" double wall constructed.
Rear discharge door shall be operated by a 2" x 11" stroke cylinders.
Flame cut upper pivot arms for top lids.
Material is funneled to center of container.
Hydraulic system is powered by a 20 H.P. LPG engine.
Starter generator with 12 volt, 50 AMP battery.
Hydraulic controls located at the right rear corner of the container.
Container is to discharge by means of an all-steel chain/belt conveyor.
Conveyor is driven through a gearbox by a hydraulic motor.
The all-steel belt shall have cross bars on each chain link of the conveyor and shall have sprockets with a 1 3/4” shaft, 3/8” pintle chain shall be driven by a 25:1 right angle gear box and hydraulic high torque motor.
Sloping floor not less than 45° from horizontal.
Unit of box is 82" O.D.
Length of box is 120" I.D. - 132" O.D.
Patcher is designed to fit into 10 ft. Dump Body.
RADIANT HEATER
Heat tubes located under the container.
Interior heat chamber has passageways to direct heat.
Passageways separate from heat chamber.
Chamber totally enclosed inside container.
2 burners propane fueled.
Rating of 67,000 BTU each @ pressure of 10 PSI.
Controlled by thermostat range of 100° to 300° F.
12 volt electronic igniters.

3/8-inch diameter 5 feet long steel application wand shall be supplied.
